Scott graduated from the University of Nottingham with an LLB (Hons) before attending the College of Law, London where he undertook the Legal Practice Course. He trained with CMS Cameron McKenna, qualifying in 1999, and subsequently practised as an energy/projects lawyer.
Scott moved into legal recruitment with Deacon Search in November 2001 until January 2005 when he joined Shilton Sharpe Quarry. Scott returned to Deacon Search in March 2009.
Scott specialises in recruiting at partner and partner-designate level and also has experience of team moves and mergers. During the course of his legal recruitment career to date, he has worked on successful assignments on behalf of City, US, leading boutique/niche and West End firms.
