Paul graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1991 receiving a LLB (Hons), before attending the College of Law, Chester to complete his Legal Practice Course. He then qualified with Pinsent Curtis (Leeds/London) as a commercial litigator.
At two and a half years qualified, Paul made the transition to legal recruitment at HW Daniels Bates (now part of Hudson) where he focused on private practice recruitment in London prior to establishing Deacon Search (formerly Deacon Winehouse) in September 1999.
Paul has conducted and completed a variety of partner assignments for a wide range of firms. In addition, he regularly gives seminars and writes articles on the search process.
