Gemma graduated from the University of Birmingham with a degree in Psychology (2:1 BSC (Hons)). She subsequently joined the world’s largest pharmaceutical company, Pfizer, promoting medicines to doctors.
In 2007 Gemma entered the world of legal recruitment, establishing Deacon Associates, a sister business to Deacon Search. In addition to placing assistant solicitors and advising law firms on recruitment strategy, Gemma also works with Deacon Search on a range of partner assignments. She has experience in both search and contingency recruitment and her client base covers select City, West End and Niche firms.
